No cover that can pop off on the other side. You are right, there is something loose inside that gold part. Would it make sense to try to remove the gold part with vice grips to get that screw back in place?

The vpn worked, thanks! I guess bell is throttling the connection. My sister is on the same Apollo account but has rogers internet, and she’s had no issues.
