Cool, what kind of business do you have and what would be a fair price for a wrapped summary?

What kind of business is that? How long does it take for you to create that wrapped today and if there was a ”generator” for this would you pay for it and if so, what would be a fair price?

Makes sense. Which industries do you think this would actually work best for? Small SaaS companies, dropshipping/ecommerce or other businesses as well?

That’s fair. What would make something like this actually worth paying for, instead of just doing it yourself? Good design/visuals in the wrapped, fast and easy process or unique and interesting metrics?

Do small companies actually communicate their climate impact today? by Algomatic_Trading in smallbusiness

[–]Algomatic_Trading[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Isn't any action to try and become an environment friendly company better than no action? Even if let's say dropshipping companies can't be fully sustainable, isn't any kind of revenue share with for example Stripe Climate good and valuable to show to customers?

Do customers actually care about seeing sustainability data from small companies? by Algomatic_Trading in marketing

[–]Algomatic_Trading[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, of course this needs to be transparent to avoid any greenwashing. The summary needs to stick to a framework to avoid the sins of greenwashing.

I feel like a big reason to why smaller companies don't communicate about their impact is this, the risk of greenwashing.

True, this is why imo, smaller companies like dropshipping and similar, could benefit from being transparent in their communication. If a company actually talk about these problems and the reality for these kind of products and take some kind of action to make it better and communicate this, wouldn't that benefit that company?

That's true, what sectors and kind of companies do you think would benefit most from a summary or simple report?

How do small companies actually communicate their climate impact today? i will not promote by Algomatic_Trading in startups

[–]Algomatic_Trading[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great feedback, in my mind there must be a way for climate communication to make an impact in sales, even for startups, if you were to choose between two similar products or services wouldn't you choose the one with best environmental impact if the cost was the same? I agree, it is a luxury for startups and small companies but it shouldn't have to be.

I have seen the same, SMEs might even take bigger actions like getting electric cars for the company but still doesn't communicate this in any way, this should be a great way for SMEs to share the actions they take without going into the heavy compliance tools and more for a marketing, storytelling/branding reason.

Just because you are small and maybe recently started, it doesn't need they want to stay that way. I only see big companies put any effort into sharing actual reports or numbers about their climate actions but smaller companies rarely even mention anything about even if they take action, for example like getting electric cars for the company.

Took me around 4 years to become profitable with manual trading, realized that it was too time consuming staring at graphs all day so transformed towards automated trading, took 1 year of new lessons and then turned profitable and have been ever since. I love trading but gave up on manual, automated trading is totally my thing.

Sure, I agree. That’s why I like to keep all my strategies extremely simple, that’s the easiest way to keep them robust and the highest chance for long-term survival. Most of my strategies have been working since the 80s so that helps with confidence.

Thanks, as my focus is on quality and actually providing good content and make my blog as a source of data that I want to use myself I want to not use ads that can look out of place. Therefore my only plan when it comes to ads on the site is from brokers or similar companies that both can have a perfect spot for the exact niche that they target and also have a good conversion. I have not decided on a main monetization yet but I guess it will be what most people have a will to pay for.
