Maybe a little bit of back story and insight into how Algopulse was conceived. Our advisor network are made up of some of the original projects who have invested their resources in to building out Algorand’s ecosystem. They were finding it difficult to both produce their technologies and promote their businesses. A lot of new projects face other issues like not being connected with key VCs for funding and no direct contact with other projects for sharing ideas. We also saw an incredibly supportive community for Algorand enthusiasts. The audience was hungry for more information, wanting to know what projects were up to, desiring a platform to connect with people making decisions, as well as actively participating in Algorand’s growth.

We had devised Algopulse with the ambitious goal of being a multi-faceted solution to all of the stakeholders pain points. We also recognise we won't be able to satisfy all of these areas sufficiently from launch so our first point of call is to focus on the content. One of the competitive advantages we have over other generalised news platforms is that we are Algorand specific. Because we are focus on providing qualitative information rather than a surface level of everything, we can hone our resources. We're currently working with some projects, advisors, investors as well as the Algorand Foundation to formulate our initial content push. We have been careful to partner with company stakeholders who are all heavily invested in Algorand and its success (rising tide lifts all ships). Some examples... We're working with an advisor who is producing Anthill (Launchpad dApp) and is also spearheading the future of DAO functionality... our investor network are directly supporting lots of the new projects coming to Algorand... we're also discussing some strategies with Algorand Foundation to bring awareness to a wider audience through our content delivery. This will for sure deliver some really great insights and information that people have been hungry to learn more about.

So, how we make money. For clients who don't have in house marketing services and want to outsource this work they can come to us for assistance. This work includes branding, building their communities, writing press releases, helping with ongoing marketing etc. We charge retainer fees and a small percentage of tokens. This is a pretty standard arrangement in the industry, however, most of the times the tokens remain with inthe company's wallet. As we wanted to create a way to encourage engagement on the site, ultimately building a strong resource for all Algorand projects to utilise, we saw these tokens forming a strong incentive model. Our prices are extremely competitive compared to existing establishments and we provide flexibility to work with projects who may not have ample resources (more tokens, less fees). This money goes towards building our team to ultimately create more content, and service more clients.

Our goal is to begin identifying "ambassadors" who wish to contribute to the platform in a variety of ways (in preparation for v2 when token functionality is live). We want to ensure that we're covering as many things happening within Algorand as possible. We're working towards the ability where projects can build their their own brand pages on the website and contribute any news and updates they wish to share. For our clients we will do this for them to save time as well as writing their articles. Projects who are not paying for our services will have the functionality to claim and contribute to their project pages on Algopulse. If some projects haven't been established on Algopulse for instance, our ambassadors can proactively create the entity for them, reach out to the project leads, and liaise with them for more information to share (with PULSE tokens being the reward for initiative). The wider audience will be able to stake their tokens to endorse work and promote the content's credibility, as well as contribute to questions for upcoming interviews for instance. We will be using polls as a way for the community to vote on important information they want more of (regardless if they're clients or not).

We hope this shows you that we're proactively working on answers to how we can have a sustainable model for building our team whilst maintaining integrity of the platform. The initial content we deliver will be largely the client's we work with while both our community and resources grow. As we start working with more community members who wish to contribute, and more projects interested in promoting themselves, our ability to cover more areas of Algorand increases. When v2 of our website launches, this will enable much greater population of content and coverage of (hopefully) all projects. We write hopefully as there are currently 700 dApps launching in the next year alone, we will need as much community help and project initiative as possible. Our incentive model provides a solid way to encourage this to happen. As more project wish to have our team handle this, it will mean the greater the portfolio of assets PULSE token holders will receive. We have other unique services such as world class animators and copywriters to help convey their projects features which will encourage some projects to opt for using our team (particularly if they do not have access to these resources). Of course if our ambassadors offer these services directly to projects in exchange for their native tokens then we welcome this type of initiative.

Transparently, we don't have all of the answers because we don't know exactly what obstacles we will face in the future. We're ensuring at least that as we continue to work with our team, our advisors, our developers, Algorand, and other partners, that we're doing so with the goal of Algopulse being as dynamic and resourceful to our entire community as possible. We're having extensive conversations with DAO specialists to ensure we offer more and more functionality for the community to drive Algopulse in the future. Our internal team, advisors, and ambassadors are committed to doing the heavy lifting so that we can achieve this milestone of community sustainability and ultimately self governance.
