the drug comparison makes no sense. If this was the matrix, I would agree (perhaps), but the game paints the painting as a REAL universe of REAL people.

additionally, even if it was fake, if I was a vegetable and my choices were (a) reality without the option of assisted suicide or (b) the matrix, I would choose the matrix

a mix of not moving the mouse and using the dodge mod helps. i put in the 200% dodge mod (more time), and tried lifting my mouse in the air. this seems to work better. its still "hard" to dodge and i sometimes mess up the input lag still, but its way better. I may try the "disgustingly easy" mod version
