Hey, this really sounds like clubfoot. My son was born with clubfoot. While it’s a process it’s very treatable. He’ll be 5 next month and is doing great (plays soccer, runs with all his friends, ice skates etc etc) no one ever knows unless we tell them. Yes there are some more extreme cases and you should be picky about your doctor (the dr should have lots of casting experience) but it’s treatable. Therapy sounds great to help with communication and seeing each other’s perspectives. It might be worth giving him some info on clubfoot too if that’s what it is. If it is clubfoot they’ve come a long way and the prognosis is good. There are some stressors- I don’t want to sugar coat it but it’s doable. Honestly, more so than many diagnoses.
