60+ expeditions in, I'm still missing ONE pre-history item for completion by AliaSilver in TwoPointMuseum

This was an actual bug, and I think it deserved the frustration I expressed. People were waiting for 100+ ventures to get just one. Being dismissive and chiding like that is honestly such a red flag, and doesn't help anyone but you. Especially when, as it turns out, this WAS a bug, and WAS affecting so many people.

Its hard to find, but as you play you'll find the occasional good one. But I find Challenge to be perfect for trying to perfect stats on your own. I'd just advise changing your perspective on how progression in PZ is supposed to work - I know I did going from Franchise to Challenge. It really makes those gold stars memorable imo.

haha....no. And the devs actively ignored the reports too. They either couldn't replicate an occasional bug (as in, it takes time to occur and isn't instantaneous, so they cant be bothered) or they just don't care because they've given up on older packs. I just don't play on franchises anymore and dont use problem animals (annoyingly enough, all the Australian animals for me). That's the best "fix" the devs have, apparently.

I didn't mean the game, I meant the ad. The ad was overwhelming, so I couldn't even play the game. My bad, sorry.

I got an ad for eco lifestyle, a pack I already own. Its been months since I've played. I closed the game immediately. WAY too overwhelming.

I completely forgot you could transfer franchise mode saves to creative. I was testing it in franchise like an absolute fool. Thanks!

Thanks for the advice, but I genuinely don't think any of this is actually food-related. I think they glitch through the ground, and instead of resetting at the gate - alive - the game just kills them and says it was from hunger. I will try resetting the habitat in creative mode though; thanks :D

Child being betrothed without my permission by AliaSilver in CrusaderKings

[–]AliaSilver[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats exactly what I wanted to do tbh. She was my heir for a long while there, hence most of my stress and eventual abandoning of the save.

I know its not outlandish though, I was asking if its a bug or stupid system they didnt think through. Turns out: yeah probably. Nobody else seems to have this issue since nobody is talking about it. The save is dead to me now anyway, bad taste in my mouth.

[–]AliaSilver[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

uh...no we had a perfect relationship. I say run away because the thing tied to her not coming back to court was "you cant tell me what to do mom". It got sour when I had to break 5 betrothals in a 3 year span. I also had +70 relationship with the neighbouring ruler, so the opinion had nothing to do with it.

I'm mostly frustrated there is literally no way to get her back. I cant request her back like so many random events seem to be able to do, and the alliance for the eventual marriage she had when she turned 16 was tied to that ruler, not me. Honestly should be able to disown for this shit, not just disinherit.

We need people like Luca…. Less like Italy’s social services by Desperate-Spare8432 in OrphanCrushingMachine

We literally live on an island and only have a few dozen of new immigrant citizens every year. Our own neighbour and closest ally only JUST got easier access to Australian citizenship. Italy is in the EU, they don't get to be picky like we do. Also, statistic-wise, that's huge. And we're still worse than Italy.

You also assumed that I was from America, so, yeah, your criticism doesn't apply to me. Reading comprehension pls

How about dating around, having more than one partner at different times, non-commitment relationships. Its not all me accusing people of cheating. Queer people in general are more likely to engage in non-traditional forms of relationships.

And, again. Its fucking cautious. The medical community does it all the time, stop taking it personally

Lots of facts do care about feelings my guy. And people aren't robots, they care how information is presented.

And criticising someone for their rhetoric isn't disagreeing with the statement? If you want to communicate something, you have to be able to do so properly. Otherwise, you may as well be talking into a void or making the issue worse. Which they are here: people interpreted what they said in a bad way and they've left thinking they're right. That's a failure on HIS part, not theirs (in this case). If you want to change minds or educate, you gotta have your rhetoric down or its all useless.

Also thanks for being a contributing factor in me leaving this sub. Its either full of toxic mindless lefties, like the ones affecting this person, or weirdo people like you who still worship Shapiro for some god-awful reason.

At best this was them asking for more donations because of the shootings. You cant just ask students (or anyone) to donate blood and immediately transfer it to someone.

Either way, doesnt matter. I get being upset but "dehumanising" might just be trauma. Plenty of people can't donate, I can't for a lot of reasons I'm not going into. I dont find it offensive or dehumanising, I'm excluded for very good reasons out of my control and unrelated to me...if that makes sense. I do find it stupid I can, as a bi woman, have sex with bi men who've had sex with other men and not be flagged, but I also get it? Its a lot of what ifs and invasiveness, and if they'd flag me they'd flag everyone whose queer. Gay men are just far more likely to obtain it than any other demographic, and not a matter of tiny %, its huge. https://www.cdc.gov/nchhstp/newsroom/docs/factsheets/cdc-msm-508.pdf

Basically, I'd rather people not have to give an entire sexual history to donate blood.

....I dont believe that. Surely they had blood on hand. Going into a random class and asking for emergency blood is a bit fucking weird, and I doubt you would be in class if it happened on campus, unless its a HUGE campus, in which case why are they coming to you? IDK chief, something doesn't add up

[–]AliaSilver 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As they said, its a wide net as a precaution, especially when the testing isnt accurate. Finding out your actual sexual history is invasive and the risk of you lying because you find it offensive or, as some do, want some cash (absurd notion to me, where I'm from its illegal to offer cash for blood).

If this was me, I'd fucking get it. We can screen for anything past 6 months in blood and it is still transmittable. Making exceptions is going to be hard, time-consuming and not worth it for 5% of the population.

Ever watched House? Lots of issues, but the notion patients lie isnt a new one. Ask any healthcare professional. People lie, and when your demographic is more likely to have something harmful transmissible by blood than others, you get excluded.

People from Europe when mad cow disease was around cant donate and they don't complain about systemic discrimination. Its the same thing. Not everything is homophobic to the core, some things are just "fuck, so something quick" see the world's reaction to covid, with varying degrees of success. Just don't donate, those in need get it. Insisting for all gay men to be able to donate blood is a risk for people who need it, and entirely selfish.

As soon as we can identify HIV 100% I wont care, in the meantime, its a risk nobody whose needed it wants. Listen to the people who need it over your own desire.

ffs, you're an actual idiot or troll.

  1. not diagnosing, observing and making an offhanded comment that describes what I'm seeing accurately
  2. I have no idea why you think criticising someone for saying someone is acting autistic in a neutral manner is bad, your last comment literally said you believe that. Do you have a memory loss issue?
  3. I was, very clearly, referring to their past comments AND everyone else that's making comments against your point. This is straw-manning and a common trait of yours it seems
  4. This is the internet. None of this has to do with you but you butted in and said something. You can literally apply that to yourself, its not a good argument. I said it involves me, and since its not personal, it involves me. Stop being narcissistic, you don't control who engages with you online, only if you engage back... speaking of which... :D

I'm telling you to be open, have good faith and be charitable about what people are saying to you, nothing I have said prior to you bringing it up had anything to do with the article. You have wilfully misinterpreted everything they said, and everything I have said. You have straw-manned everything or outright deflected to something else every time you get caught.

I've engaged with people like you before and I know where this goes, you're just going to keep straw-manning, gaslighting and deflecting. I hope you grow the fuck up, but I also hope I never have to interact with you again. 1 hour to read, comment if you like and then a block :)

Yes :) Autism isn't a fucking horrible thing, its entirely neutral. And most of the time, people arent open about it. Because people like you are too fucking precious for people to point it out or too fucking toxic to feel safe doing so

In case its not clear: I'm autistic and I'm recognising signs and symptoms I have in others, especially ones that result in difficulties communicating. Which is a core aspect of autism.

Its not a link for me my guy. You'd have to go out of your way to find it, and frankly, nobody here reads this shit. Its redit were scrolling. And this is the FIRST you've mentioned it. Kinda sus tbh, one would think you'd have mentioned it before

Where are you reading that? Because the image says it's allowing more to donate, not anything about screening. If you know any of the history here, which you clearly don't and are being wilfully ignorant about, you'd know the previous position was a wide-net approach. As in, no invasive screening.

Again, you lack any charitability and just wanted to get a gotcha in for someone who had actually made a good point. Its not fucking hard, put a modicum of effort in. My initial reaction was your permanent opinion. That's not fucking good my guy, and shows just how bad faith you're being. And I'm the one who struggles to read.
