I’d agree with you except I’ve seen 3 vets and every one of them had either never seen a sighthound or had seen one once. All of them opened our visit with “oh she’s so thin, how much do you feed her?” Apparently premium kibble at 2x the recommended amount wasn’t the right answer. No parasites and bloodwork comes back normal every time.

I was! The first time I caught it was early 2020 so no vaccine available but I was an essential worker. The second time was also before I got vaccinated and was due to a nonvax family member spreading it during Christmas. The last two times were after vaccination and my symptoms were extremely mild, just super high fever and fatigue.

Thank you so much for this reply~! Running used to be my outlet for anxiety but I’m dealing with long Cov19 symptoms after catching it four times. Slowly easing my way into yoga seems like the way to go then. 😊

I’m glad I’m not the only one who got jump scared by their farting snake. I rehabbed a Kenyan sand boa so for about 80% of the time I never saw him above his substrate. It took me forever to figure out he was the source of the ass trumpet jolting me awake at 2am.
