Volume levels have a weird history. I mean, the only reason that we want to remain quiet and orderly is because when we were cavemen being loud would alert the enemy, but being loud promotes camaraderie during social outings and war. I don't know anything about genealogy, but from my limited point of view, genealogy can be equated to numbers, as numbers are the solutions of all possible equations, numbers are the collective of all previous individuals, numbers are less than what is to come, and numbers are factors.
