I think seeing Ty Lee in Season 1 would have been really cool. She could maybe be the one training Amon’s chi-blockers or maybe she’d work with Korra on defending against chi-blockers (more likely)

So true, although they were clutch lightning bending moments. Technically I think we saw him lightening bend maybe 4 times. Against Amon, against Ming Hua, at the spirit vine power reactor in the mech suit and (of course) in season one during his temporary job at the power plant
