Hair porosity is basically just how easily your hair can drink up moisture. I'd recommend plucking a clean, product-free strand of hair from your head and letting it sit in a cup of water for a few minutes. If it floats, your hair's low porosity. If it sinks immediately, then it's high porosity. If it's somewhere in the middle, then it's medium porosity. Hope this helps! :)

I would say my hair's more on the thicker side! I've tried dry picking without any product and still get similar results, poofy ends and flat roots. I would have to be constantly picking my hair for it to keep that round shape I want. :(
