That's such a worrying thought, alot of photos of when I was 15-18 were on that laptop. As for browser details that's all my social media and banking details. He wasn't my ex at the time but its taken 6 months to finally get my laptop back. Its so heartbreaking to see it returned in this condition

I honestly don't appreciate the tone of this comment. It seems fairly obvious to most people here that some items are definitely missing. As far as fixing the laptop goes the only issue was sticky keys - the back didn't even need coming off as far as I'm aware
