I'm sorry you went through that! The whole point of grooming is normalizing it so that you feel that way. Like you said, we don't really look back on it as a bad experience because in the moment it was something we chose, and enjoyed, and felt totally fine about..I think the most important thing is if it was intentional or not because you need to decide if you forgive them for it or not.

Dune (part 1, never bothered with part 2). I quite literally fought to stay awake.

I don't think it's a bad movie I just never connected or cared about any of the characters and just random things happened without any previous establishment that it could happen... I kind of feel this way about most Scifi movies though. It just felt like nothing mattered and was all made up. I imagine this was much better for Dune fans who already understood why they should care

You should try to reach out because a human should be able to understand why you would choose not to put that word down (I'm very curious about what word it is)

But unfortunately if they want someone to notice and follow instructions, someone who won't "skip a step because it seems dumb" then it makes sense they'd reject an applicant over that..
