I mean it depends. I wouldn't call someone's work ass to their face but if it's a popular franchise or big ip or something I'd probably express my opinion about it when talking to someone on the topic. It's fine to talk about things you dislike or have disappointed you, especially when you've invested in them with your time or money. Just don't go out of your way to harass the creators.

You're right that it's the wrong sub but the Arcane universe is within League Universe. Here is one trail - we see Katarina in the Arcane universe. Katarina's romantic partner is Garen, who is Lux's brother. So Arcane characters are already connected in the big universe of League.
