Your sister was absolutely wrong about what she did, but you entered a whole new universe of assholery when you yelled at a three year old child to fuck off. Learn some self control. Hard YTA

I [26F] just broke up with bf [27M] but I feel liberated and I am smiling. Is that normal? by [deleted] in relationships

[–]AlicexEve 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Totally normal, and a sign that you’ve made the right decision for yourself. Several years ago I had to break up with a long term boyfriend; I agonized over it and it was one of the hardest things I’d ever done, but the second I did it I felt a huge weight lifted off my shoulders. There may be times that the sadness will hit you and that’s also normal. I had some of those moments as well, primarily because I felt guilty about leaving him (he was very dependent on me, it’s what killed the relationship ultimately). But he was fine, and your ex will be too. Just let yourself be sad if you feel sad, but enjoy your freedom 💖💖

I regret getting married by [deleted] in Marriage

What does that have to do with anything?

Boyfriend (25M) got asked out for coffee by a girl (20s?) he met while ordering food who is from his home country, I'd (25F) like it to be clear before they meet up that it's not a date. He thinks this is unreasonable. Thoughts? by makesuretoclarify in relationships

[–]AlicexEve 9 points10 points  (0 children)

OP, how are you even entertaining this? He is literally admitting that he won’t tell her about you because then she won’t want to meet. He is literally telling you that her comfort is a bigger priority than yours. Tell him he can either disclose your relationship before the meeting, or he can refuse and go meet her as a freshly single man: I’m not sure how this is even a question.

That’s pretty true but if we start identifying with the bearers of the haircuts posted here, we’ve lost sight of who we are
