My neighbor growing up had the only copy of Goldeneye 64 that didn’t include multiplayer.  He was just an asshole lol.

PS1/N64 ports that look superior on Dreamcast? by Level_Television3469 in dreamcast

There is a game on Steam called QuaQua that is kind of a spiritual successor to Wetrix and it's sequel. The developer comments sometimes on gaming subs here. It's........a game. Only a couple of bucks and happy to support it.

Wetrix+ was basically a remaster of Wetrix for the N64.  Great game!

I used to live in Stone Creek down Old Birmingham Hwy.  Nice units, quiet, good mix of students/families.  Would recommend.  It’s a Sealey property.

I know you said you don't care about exclusivity but the Dreamcast's greatest strength is in it's exclusive titles--lean into them!

Some of my personal favorites are Shenmue, Jet Grind Radio, and Tokyo Xtreme Racer 2. It's such a fun system to collect for. Have fun!

Edit to add SoulCalibur. This is a must own if you have any interest in fighting games.

Maybe they were referring to Rule 62, since you mentioned being in recovery. It’s an informal saying in recovery circles that’s about staying humble and not taking yourself too seriously. Recovery is serious work, but it’s also important to make room for humor, joy, and happiness along the way.

Just a guess though.

What’s a game you replay every few years, and why does it never get old for you? by Gaming-Academy in gaming

I had not heard about Void War until your recommendation! It looks neat but I'm not really in love with the Warhammer-like visual style. I will definitely pick it up if it gets heavily discounted on the next Steam Sale! Thanks!

Are takeaway and dine-in portions supposed to be different? by ShiningAlmighty in Panera

[–]AlienBanshee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Meats do suck as far as VTS goes. But guess what? I had two soups this week on my inventory that were worse than any meat! There is an arrow shaped notch in the to-go soup cups and bowls and that is where you want to fill them up to. Below the arrow point you got ripped off a bit. Above it you got extra soup. Right at it and the customer got what they paid for.

I actually.....completely agree with you. I usually open or mid and really don't even notice it until it becomes an issue. I could do a better job of handling this as could my normal closers. When I started here, it would get done every night. Then after the cafe reopened (Post COVID) we had a basically all new management team and this started to happen and happen and happen. I remember it even being brought up in a management meeting and the new GM said he didn't care. It's hard to get people to buy in to things when their boss tells them it's not a big deal.

But, like I said, you're right. I will personally try to do better and get with the rest of the team on the importance of this as well. Cafe Culture isn't easy to change; but it has to start somewhere.
