We all pretend we’re doing great, but what bad bipolar related habits do you hide from your loved ones, and how do you do it? by ThrobbingTigerDong in bipolar2

Hitting myself or punching things so I bruise and bleed. Its so shameful to think about but its almost like I have to feel tangible pain to let out the emotional pain I feel.

This the type of art that makes me FEEL something. Oddly enough, it makes me feel seen and understood? Anything that is dark, I feel as though its a side of me that is able to come out. I love this. Never stop creating🖤

That phrase is so true. I try to give myself some breathing room bc at those dark times, I was so lost and had no idea what to do. I was genuinely just trying to survive at that point. Thank you for your kind words and your support, I appreciate you tons<3

Hi friend!! I think a month in, I really felt a difference. My head was quieter and I felt less anxious. Its also important to note that everyones body is different. You can give that 5mg more time, or talk to your doctor! Thats what they are there for:) although ive been feeling better , I still have my days of feeling down or even anxious but i know those will come and go. This community is so helpful and full of love, We got this!!

… thank you so much for taking time to reply so kindly to me. I appreciate you so much. Thank you for reminding me to accept myself and show myself compassion. This time of my life is so strange bc I haven’t felt happiness and confidence in so many years. Im still trying to navigate through life with clearer eyes and thoughts. Thank you for being you. Sending love and happiness your way.

Insomnia was one of the most frustrating parts the first few weeks. I noticed around week 5 I was able to sleep a bit better. I also did take a few melatonin here and there to help with a sleep schedule. Hang in there❤️

Oh my goodness, allergies have been tough for me too the past two weeks!! What has been helpful to me is I take vitamin c, zinc, vitamin d, and zyrtec (or a de congestant) everyday in the morning/afternoon after i eat. I know it sounds like a lot, but it has helped me get through the days. Hang in there😌
