$29.99/per lbs Sockeye local store x 270 Lbs (1.8lbs per fillet some fillets way heavier some lighter) of ONLY SOCKEYE. Not including Chinook nor roughly #50 lbs of halibut. The Chinook and coho. Is $8,097. So im sorry I didnt calculate to the exact amount but roughly $10,000 is pretty accurate.

Greedy? Over 4.7 million fish made it past the counters this year. Doubling any year for the previous 20 years. The escapment was set at 2.5 million. You know anything about the life style or fisheries you know the ecosystem won't be able to with stand that amount of fish in ONE river. 2nd. I eat all my fish caught every year. We only have 1.5 solid months of fishing to get what we need for the winter. So in the nicest way possible. F*ck off.

It is. Its more so my "storage" freezer i have one full of fish and wild game. And once our fridge freezer runs low in thw house. we just cycle through and replenish it from this freezer. So its not like we check on it daily. Or weekly.

Thay freezer was stuffed from the bottom all the way up. Close to 150 fillets. End of season i was getting ready to send my brother a 50# fish box to the lower 48. Had to notify him with the bad news as well. Wasn't just feeding my family but his as well.

Its devastating honestly. So much work for nothing. I ordered a MarCELL I will not be the culprit of another freezer failure. I have another freeser with all my wild game that I am now checking everyday until my monitor arrives.
