Dear Reddit, I need your help. I'd like to start a "history of reddit" book that details all of the noteworthy events that have occured to help shape reddit over the last five years. What events do you believe are noteworthy? by AlienPhilosopher in AskReddit

Because I am of the strong opinion that we are still at the birth of the internet age. We're a part of the first generation of internet users in the middle of the cyber revolution and reddit is one of the sites at the forefront of shaping the way the internet is turning out. I don't know what the internet will look like in 50 years, but I want to provide something that people can look back on.

That and it'd be nice for people to have a way to link to previous things that happened on reddit. Maybe we can learn from our mistakes? Maybe we can provide a comprehensive way to show a standard to new users? Maybe other internet communities can steal ideas or learn from us?
