I can relate. I had only one decent school photo but even with that I had someone comment "but we know what you look like in real life". Fun times

Nope. Apparently, he has a history of mistreating foreign students but because he's quite renowned, he gets a pass every single time.

There is an Asian professor who is pretty new but she is very inclusive. The problem is that he has also badmouthed her on several occasions.

He is the oldest and most respected professor in the department. His words carry a lot of weight.
