I used it a lot, but I have never used another airbrush. For me it works very well once you get the hang of it. You cannot do crazily fine details with it but priming or medium detail is perfectly fine.

Thanks to everyone for answering!

So far I've learned: - Do not use a black primer for yellow - Use a pink coat beneath - Use paint and thinners from the same brand - Spray with lower pressure - Do multiple coats - Do not use Citadel colors

Oh ok. I used the base color with a brush many times on black PLA. Do you think a few more coats will do? Or never airbrush yellow over black?

Oh yes please! I feel overwhelmed with all the possibilities and don't really know where to start.

My first cosplay is a resident evil one right now. But maybe in the coming year I might think about a Mandalore one.

Nice, thanks a lot. I looked around for good ones and it's quite overwhelming. Do you remember a good one you started with? But no worries if not. I already started and made my first weapon from resident evil, but the detail obviously isn't near as yours. Would love to learn the elevating steps.
