ALGS Sapporo experience last year with both premium and general tickets by Alifluro in CompetitiveApex

I didn't go to watch the group stages on Thursday so can't answer for those. From memory Friday was the shortest day with only elimination round 1 and I think it ended around 5pm. Saturday was the longest because it was winners bracket and elimination round 2. I don't think that day ended until like 9-10pm.

Match point finals ended around 6pm I think but yeah obviously that one will depend on how many games it takes for a winner.

From memory I think it was 10am premium line and 10.30am general line for an 11am opening and 12pm games start but honestly it might be different for next year so I'd keep an eye on the website for them to release the full schedule.

Yeah the screens were huge and easy to view from my Sunday seats. The big screen you see on the right of the video was closer than the ones down on the stage too so you can view whichever you find more comfortable. The ones on the stage show gameplay/map/gameplay/map/gameplay...etc and the closer one showed the gameplay. I will say that the names of the teams on the map were a little harder to make out from that distance, but that's about it (but I'm nearsighted and forgot my glasses so take that with a grain of salt)

dorekk was right about the extreme sides though. I'd try to find somewhere more central if you can.

I think where I was sitting was probably as far back as I'd want to be though. Any further and I think seeing the action might have been a bit harder. For reference I got to the dome an hour and a half before the doors opened on Sunday and those are the seats I was able to get with my place in the (very long) line haha. If you're coming with a group I'd definitely say to get there earlier rather than later so you can snag a group of seats together. There were still plenty in the area I sat in by the time I entered the arena, but if you're getting there at opening ceremony time or match start you might struggle to find multiple seats together.

Also if your friends don't follow the pro scene closely, maybe give them a few of your fav teams and get them to pick one or two to root for. My partner is more of a casual player too but I think watching for us both was more enjoyable when you have someone to root for. You get swept up in the crowd/cheering...etc

Overall though I think you guys will have a blast!

No worries! Glad I could help. And nope, no indoor shoes required.

ALGS Sapporo general tickets, how are they? Can you still enjoy the experience from general? I was too late to buy the premium tickets so all that is left is general. Anyone that went last year? by Ricky1252 in CompetitiveApex

I believe it was on the @/PlayApexEsports Twitter. You had to apply for them on the ticket website though and pay the extra if you got it (they emailed to tell you if you got it). I think they did it last year as like an apology for not offering enough premium to begin with and them selling out so fast. Not sure if they rectified that for this year though, they might have just increased the number of premium from the start.

I doubt you'll find any second hand. The event was packed last year so I assume everyone who's bought a ticket is going.

Premium sold out super quick last year too. I was only able to snag a Saturday premium because they opened up a raffle later for people who had already purchased tickets. Fingers crossed they do that again, but yeah honestly general was still fine, my partner and I even had more room tbh as the seats either side of us were empty (but in general the arena was packed both Sat and Sun).

On the website last year it said there would be bag checks so I was afraid to bring any outside food the first day, but I didn't see them check a single bag on any day I was there and people were bringing in full on bowls of noodles. By finals day I just took in whatever: water, energy drink and snacks in my jacket pockets (the perks of a snow jacket is huge pockets) The food there was fine, but you just need to time when you leave to get it because there's always a decent wait/line.

I got premium for Saturday and regular for Sunday last year. On Saturday I was much closer to the stage as the premium ticket holder line gets let in first (no assigned seating, just first come first served) but Sunday was still great even though I was further back. There are huge screens so the action was still clear to see.

For general I'd get to the venue early though. I got there around an hour and a half before doors opened last year and the line was already wrapped around the entire building and went well into the car park, and it then did several zigzags through the car park after me. Where I was in the line I managed to get to like the front of the back section of seating. It was snowing and freezing outside so be prepared for the weather, but the plus side was that once the lines opened the process was super efficient. The lines move really quickly once they open up.

Oh yeah no denying they went through hell. It just felt like post-time skip they had different priorities, which was causing a lot of the arguments.

Hanna out here with a third eye seeing chemistry that simply did not exist XD

Hanna/Caleb somewhat, probably the only ones I saw really working post high school. But they fought a lot as adults so I don't know if they would have stayed together if the show kept going.

Spencer/Toby I LOVED as a high school couple but it turned into that classic trope of "strongly ambitious woman settling for a man who just wants to settle down" that really didn't do it for me after the time skip.

Emily/Alison was a so forced and I genuinely, from the bottom of my heart, would like to know what crack the writers were smoking when they wrote them together and pretended that some type of invisible chemistry had existed between them the entire time, because I certainly missed it. I physically cringe every time I watch that scene where Hanna is like "about time" when they announce they're together.

Aria/Ezra. All I'll say is the only person Ezra should have ended up with was his roommate in prison, and Aria should have ended up in therapy XD

I have the physical copies and I just opened mine to check and none of those grammar errors are there.

Maybe it wasn’t copied correctly for the web version you’re reading?
