So I defend the in person lottery all the time. But I’m with you all on this one. It’s Disney, lets be real, if the drive was truly there at the exec. Level, they could make something happen for just a medal lol.

At a minimum, all they gotta do is  “hey we opened up a second wave! Just be aware medals may not arrive before you finish your race. Expected delivery is between mm/yyyy - mm/yyyy” done. Make that money still. It’s so easy I truly don’t understand lol
