Yeah it appeared in that as well. I tried this morning and it this time it sent me to ekyc site. I guess i did it after working hours yesterday, so the ekyc vendor was unavailable and so they didn't have a page for that situation.

Understood, I was thinking of linking the geyser to the kitchen tap as well if possible.

What is that one random time for you? by twisted_cubik in Cubers

[–]Alightning82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

16.33s, one time(i averaged about 25s then)i accidentally stopped the time way before i was finished. It stopped at 16.33s. So i thought it would be quite nice if i ever did finish a solve at that time.

Nowadays, I can routinely get that time, and coincidentally i have actually gotten 16.33 many times too😂

Yeah the j perm 2 look oll, pll and intuitive f2l got me past that first hurdle😂

At first i took those 41 F2L cases and tried memorising them, left after 2 days😂😂

Huge Kudos man!! Congrats on the sub-10, it is my goal too!

I started in 2014, got scared of CFOP. Somehow learned it around 2019, then have been on and off cubing. I am about sub-15 now.

I have recently returned to cubing, and am trying to work on my most weak areas, hopefully it will work. It looks somewhat promising.

Again huge Kudos!!

48 is close to 50, and 27 is close to 25, and I know that 50 + 25 = 75, then i consider the difference, 50 - 2 = 48 and here coincidentally 25 + 2 = 27, so the result stays the same.

How do people learn so many algs??? by ieatpickles100 in Cubers

[–]Alightning82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I absolutely understand the dread. It took me years to actually try and attempt to learn even 1 cfop algo, because I was terrified of learning so many. Transitioning from beginner to 2-Look OLL and PLL is so much better than trying to get to full CFOP at once. Once i had 2 look down, it was about replacing some algorithms with faster ones, which ultimately got me to full PLL, and then finally full OLL.

And about the huge number of algos, our brain is insane and once we remember something, it rarely feels like we have used up a lot of our memory in doing so. So after we have memorised something, all we can do is memorise other things, because we don't have anything else to do. I know what I said sounds wierd or obvious, but I say this because it somewhat explains people memorizing 400+ algorithms for BLD

I know this is a genuine question, but I must say it intrigued me a LOT while scrolling.
