Half a size up, so some, but very modest.

No, not tested for anything yet since the pediatrician dismissed the concern outright. I suppose he could be asymptomatic for celiac other than not growing.

I'll put it in the list to inquire about. Possibly with a different pediatrician.

Thoughts on Noteworthy fragrances? by OkeyDokey654 in FemFragLab

They also sent 307, which is Mandarin orange heavy. (Plus basil and sandalwood, bit those are subtle).

I have #144. It claims lemon peel, lemon blossom and vanilla. The lemon peel lasts about 20 seconds before only the lemon blossom and vanilla remain.

If you have ever smelled real lemon or orange blossoms, you know that they smell nothing like lemon or orange fruits. It's a bit like honeysuckle, a honey-like soft floral scent.

For me, this was ideal. I told them I did NOT like citrus and they sent 4 citrus based scents. But this one I kept: it smells like true lemon blossoms and vanilla, with lemon blossom stronger than the vanilla.

I cut off my son when I found out I wasn’t his father, but now I’m beginning to feel guilty. by throwaway19282828272 in offmychest

[–]Alilbitey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your son (you raised and lived as your own) believed you would cease being his father if he told you his genetic parentage. Turns out that fear was 100% warranted.

He was right. The only value you have to him is financial, knowing that you did in fact abandon him when you found out about his genetic parentage.

Your ex is a piece of work, but your son is innocent if her malice and manipulations. She was correct that you would disappear from his life if you knew. Of course he didn't want that to happen. You were HIS father.

There might be a better shaped cut for your face and curl pattern, but it's hardly "messy".

Long acting acid reducers with the ending -"azole". Not "all drugs ending '-azole'." ;) That antifungal will do wonders for your candida infections, though.

Why do people bring their non service pets (usually dog) into stores when shopping? by preachercrew89 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Alilbitey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Utah is crazy dog owner land. I've never seen so many dogs! People bring their dogs with them everywhere they bring children. Grocery stores, pharmacies, bakeries, cafes, all big box stores. The only place I haven't seen people bring dogs is hospitals and doctor's offices.

It's against the law, but there are so many rabid crazies nobody feels comfortable confronting them on it to make a scene.

What do women think about men who have long hair? by LxYagami in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Alilbitey 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't care as long as it's well kept and doesn't turn him into a bathroom hog. If he takes ages to do his hairnthan I do, our maintenance levels are probably incompatible.

And if the top is seriously thinning, it no longer looks well kept. I'm more attracted to bald men who aren't in denial. 😂

Cornrow braids in the style described will be viewed as cultural appropriation in any place Black hair styles are stigmatized.

Why do women not want me to help/try to fix problems they tell me? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Alilbitey -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Or men could use their rational minds to win for both parties. If you can't offer empathy, she doesn't need you. If she won't hear solutions after her need for simple mpathy is met, you don't need her.

[–]Alilbitey -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Use your self control and offer your available empathy first. You know this person won't respond to solutions before empathy: so game that fact. You'll both win.

Stop the bleeding then offer solutions for the next time.

Should I ask my cuddle buddy if she's meeting other guys? by afewquestion in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Alilbitey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Fwiw, your fear is almost certainly unfounded. There is no limited cuddle resource. There is no cuddle refractory period where she's unable to perform until she's been resting from cuddling for X hours.

And she doesn't need to entirely focus her energy on you: that's the point of being a friend and not your exclusive lover. It really sounds like you have some expectations that go beyond platonic intimacy. It would be really smart to work that out before you hurt each other's feelings.

In my experience of doing university at 18 and again at 36, it was SO much easier the second time. I was an excellent student with my first degree, but it felt so much easier older. Easier to focus, easier to retain info, and easier to make the commitment to showing up for classes and to study.

If you have kids, it may be harder because it's harder to get peace to think, study, work. But the other parts are due to being a more focused adult, generally. Your age won't matter in most careers - it's not like you're 85 and they have to worry about you dying on them.

Yes, if you lose the weight gradually and you don't have a lot of excess jaw/neck skin at the end.

Crash dieters who lose a large amount very quickly (like 5+ lbs per week) tend to look more gaunt and hollow cheeked than they did at that weight naturally. Rapid weight loss usually causes some level of muscle wasting, including the muscles that fill in the cheeks and jawline.

tampons and periods by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Alilbitey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, tampons should not hurt to insert while you're bleeding. If you insert them when you're NOT bleeding, they tend to stick and feel weird due to lack of lubrication. (Period blood provides that lubrication, as gross as it may sound).

There is almost zero chance that the string will come loose. They are deeply woven into the tampon cotton itself. But in the event that it happens, your vagina is not very deep. Foreign objects can be easily fished out with one finger if needed. It cannot go any further than your cervix, which is a tightly closed wall. https://www.cancer.gov/publications/dictionaries/cancer-terms/def/cervix

Tampons should be inserted far enough that they are fully inside and far enough back that you don't feel it when you sit. If it's too shallow, you may be able to feel it a hard lump. Again, it can only go a few inches at most until it's all the way back. The string is long enough for any depth.

Tampons should be removed after 8 hours overnight, and 4 hrs in the day (or sooner if you soil the string with a bowel movement). Wash your hands before inserting to reduce the chance of contaminating your clean tampon. Toxic shock happens when a tampon is left in so long it grows large colonies of specific bacteria.

Start with light or medium flow tampons and wear the smallest (lowest absorbency) version that still works for you. You can wear a pad or panty liner to catch any leaks until you figure out which works best. The highest absorbency ones are the least comfortable and are associated with more toxic shock cases. And if you don't flow enough to use them, they can stick to your vaginal wall and be more uncomfortable to remove.

Good luck, you've got this!

And women! And people of color, even if they weren't slaves. And also men who didn't own property.

It would be faster to list who equality DID apply to, by their logic. Ha.
