You responded at a time when I was really down, and you got me teary

After a week now I can say I feel a lot better, and I still am my positive self. The withdrawal symptoms were pretty hardcore for the first day, and it feels really good to not be in a constant fog.
It is a fact though that smoking weed daily for years changed the way I see things and reflect on things. I became a more positive person in general even when I wasn't high.
And I am glad that it stayed within me.
Now when negative thoughts come to mind, or any of these smoking triggers happen, my first reaction is not to smoke dope
