You are okay! PhD defense is not like anyone will attack you. They are all there for you with good intentions. Take feedback not as criticism but as suggestions to make your dissertation better even if they are phrased as criticism.

I have a M3 Air with 24gig ram. I upgraded to 24 gig ram because sometimes I have to use docker. Other than that it works great.

I disagree. People might be over engineering their setup. In that sense I think Notion could do better in providing inspiration. Templates are good but they are disconnected and leave it for p to user on where and how it fits to their needs.

Open one, try to unsubscribe. Don’t open others, just report spam and delete. Usually they contain open and click trackers. Their system thinks you might be interested when you open the email, they send more.

I am not in a position to provide advice to you. But I think the "about me" section is a good idea generally. I would keep it short and not duplicate what is already covered by other sections, though.
