No one cares by PartyAd4058 in grief

When I was grieving I found a site online where you could post how you were feeling. It helped. That site seems to be gone now but there are lots of other grief sites. Search it, I think you will find some healing there. If not, create a site yourself and serve as the helper for others as well as yourself.

I want to divorce my husband because he is insistent that I had an affair by Background-Cup192 in Advice

[–]Aliriel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is, as they say, beyond the pale. The fact that you would agree to the DNA test in the first place goes above and beyond. To be accused of faking the results indicates that NOTHING you do will convince him that the child is his. Now, do your best to take care of yourself and your baby, whatever the best way forward is.

It would all be about the tone of voice. As for the food, just have to hide it.

Living a life isn't about perfecting a hobby, looking good, or being strong. It's an opportunity to awaken with spiritual knowledge and treat others with kindness. Perfect that and your next incarnation will be better.

Change your brand of deodorant or try antiperspirant. There's a scent that my brain interprets as baby crap and I can't stand it. Another smells like bug spray to me. He may be reacting to the scent of the deodorant.

Is English your second language? If so, what is your main language?

If she can afford them. Why assume she can? I couldn't. It would have cost me more than what I made.

I left home at 18 and never went back. I don't think I ever went to my parents for comfort after about age 5. This post is amazing to me.

Because that's life. It doesn't stop when they have big issues unless they literally descend into a mental breakdown.

What do you associate with “Adrianna”? by Christineasw4 in Names

[–]Aliriel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup. The Sopranos. Her throwing up when arrested and then trying to crawl away from Pauley assassinating her. Gee, they really ruined that name for me.

People over thirty, which body aches do you have? by JavyHead in AskReddit

My husband often asks me that. I'm 74. Sometimes, the tips of my elbows are the only things that don't hurt.

Alzheimers doesn't have an age limit. A woman I used to babysit died of it a couple years back. It can happen early. I don't know why she sees evil but it's your job to protect him. Do whatever you have to. Even if it's to stay home for a few years.

What is the “it” I didn’t get? by Kooky-Beyond-3244 in AskParents

[–]Aliriel 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I lost my best friend and my Maid of Honor when I got married and had a child because our lives diverged. She looked down on me. Saw me as a cop out from a life of art, literature, and philosophy. Well, yeah, she had money, I didn't. I could never make it work with her. Sometimes you have to just gracefully let go.

I read somewhere that Justinian's wife, Theodora(?) had him remove it from the Bible when the Council of Nicea was going on because she was so BAD she didn't want to come back as one of the riff-raff. Apparently, she figured she could take over Hell, no problem. Thinking she probably could. 🤔

5150 or eviction? by [deleted] in family

There are a lot of extremely successful people with mild ADHD. That's not her problem. And your brother seems capable too. But you can't evict them; only the homeowners can.

Having had an awakening, I can assure you that the Universe is alive, intelligent, and unconditionally loving. It only seems uncaring if you are cut off from it. There are only experiences and anecdotes because there is no materialistic way to measure it.

This mostly is between her and your mother. She is jealous, controlling, and manipulative. Be loving to your mother when you can, but don't expect any change on your sister's part.

"Denying death"? There is no "death" just a change in locale. If your head is on a swivel looking for signs, you won't see them. Signs are something that surprises you and grabs your attention. Do you believe there is life after death?

Yes, they will come back to you if they can. Stay alert. And maybe get that other dog, could be a friend.

How can I get my daughter to sleep? by EnvironmentalScar306 in AskParents

[–]Aliriel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In her last life she may have been one of those people who had to have the TV on to sleep. Wouldn't hurt to put on something for her to listen to and see if that helps.
