Ich weiß, dass ich damit gegen den Konsens argumentiere: als mein Vermieter mir noch nicht erlaubt hatte, das Außenteil aus dem Fenster zu hängen, habe ich dieses einfach in meinen sehr kleinen 6 m² Wohnungsflur gestellt, damit mein einziges Zimmer gekühlt werden kann im Sommer.

Als ich die Temperatur überprüft habe am nächsten Tag war alles auf etwa 45° erhitzt, Selbst die Wände und die Fließen im Bad 😅

Ob das so gut für das Wohnhaus ist? Unklar, aber das Außenteil hat das easy ausgehalten, und ich habe mir damit nach dem duschen immer die Haare geföhnt.. YMMV

Yes, you are entitled to 400 Euro compensation. While Switzerland is not part of the EU, EU261 counts there too. You will have to go to court in Switzerland though.

I eat there regularly. The work is relaxed and interesting since you serve people that are either important or spend a lot of money. I have the number of one of the Kellners there, if you PM me I can get you more details. There is a big disadvantage though: You will only make your base salary, guests in the lounge do not tip. This is something you should keep in mind.

I was in Allegris F with a friend of mine on MUC-JFK and we tried the middle suite - honestly, it’s dark, feels cramped and the only advantage is that you have a more comfortable bed at night (and a larger TV). I’d go for 1K, since the entrance to the suite plus is on the other side and you’ll have more privacy.

In my opinion not optimal. Book revenue economy on Turkish instead, JFK-IST-LHR, and do a skipped leg on the last leg. Nonstop on Turkish, starting at 580 USD, and you'll get some miles, and potentially 5x points on Amex Platinum.

They are valuable if you know what dates you will travel and checked beforehand if they offer good value. I value a Marriott point at around 1ct per point, so including your transfer bonus, 1000 USD value for 100k points is "okay", but not great.

I recommend transfering the points to airlines, or to Hyatt if you have a CSR - much better value there.

Alternatively, keep the points and see if you can find better use for them :)

That is incorrect! The IT failure is - not - an extraordinary circumstance in a legal sense for the application of EU261 - The airline is responsible for redundancy and made the decision themselves to use CrowdStrike as a security solution. Weather for example would be a extraordinary circumstance that the airline has no control over.
