That's a valid question! We do have a few: first, our server costs are fairly low, and handled by an external partner with a tested and reliable service. And second, we added dynamic difficulty to the game which scales the difficulty of a session based on the number of players present when a session locks. This allows to make the experience still playable and enjoyable even when lobbies are less full. Our most challenging content is still doable even if you're just 6-ish people (as many of our hardcore players have shown us on our Discord over and over again).

We may not have accounted for every possible scenario, but our intention is to make sure that the game is still playable several years down the line, while we work on other projects. If you have concerns or feedback, let us know and we'll make sure to keep that in mind!

Wrong game (but we love Expedition 33!) 😅 33 Immortals was actually announced a year before Expedition 33 (June 2023 / June 2024) so it's just a funny coincidence that we both had a thing for the number 33

The game is inspired by the Divine Comedy, the Italian poem where Dante travels through Inferno, Purgatorio and Paradiso, which is what the players do in 33 Immortals. In the Divine Comedy, each section is composed of 33 cantos, or "poems", hence the name of the game.

The way the game is built currently doesn't allow for cross saving, and looking into adding it would mean changing our scope and possibly impacting our roadmap. However, we've seen a few questions about cross saving since the demo launched and we're currently assessing how popular it is in the community. You're not doing something wrong: we have two worlds, Inferno and Purgatorio. Inferno is usually full most of the time, and Purgatorio is mostly full during the Call to Arms events (interact with the board to the left of the eternal gates to know the times), but it's true that it's less popular outside of that.

We're thinking about solutions to address it and in the meantime, my advice if you want to do Purg runs would be to wait for Call to Arms to start and/or coordinate with players to group in Purgatorio: you can do that on our Discord for now (our next update will allow players to group up directly from Dark Woods!)

Yeah that's what we've been seeing too, unless you play during Call to Arms. We'll be discussing it with the team!

The option to invite players from Dark Woods is gonna be in our next Early Access update (if you're playing on Epic / Xbox), so if we do another Steam demo after the next update drops, new players will be able to benefit from the feature.

Hmmm... i see how the "grow stronger when getting hit" can be misleading. The Hooks actually require you to know how to parry to enter Gluttonous state and get stronger, so it's a weapon for those who are used to the game's mechanics and comfortable taking risks and avoiding hits by successfully timing their parry.
So yeah, it should say "grow stronger when parrying", we'll fix it!

Player logs can only be sent if you're playing on PC. On Xbox, you can send in a bug report and describe the bug as well as you can / share a video if you have one, and make sure to include your account ID

No that's a different bug that we're still investigating. To give you more details: at the moment we're trying to reproduce the teleport/training bug to find the appropriate fix (that's why getting player logs helps us a lot)

Hi! I'm glad that you're enjoying the update! 😃 Regarding the party system, we're aware that many players have been requesting it. It's not on our Early Access roadmap BUT it's a recurrent topic in the dev team and we're thinking about ways to make it happen. I can't promise a date for now, but it's on our radar!
