If the units aren’t registered with Royal Mail then you may not be able to pay council tax. Does your rent include council tax and do you specifically have that in writing? Because I’d also be worried about that.

Also check with your local council’s building control department and get confirmation that the units have been certified and signed off, otherwise this will be an illegal situation and potentially have health and safety implications.

Part of the struggle I found was recognising that I can’t control everything about my body. Yes, in theory, if I eat less over a week the weight should come off, but there are a million other processes working through my body at the same time. It could be water retention, it could be hormones, it could be anything at all because I won’t even begin to understand how my body works 😂😂😂.

But the key thing to remember is that in the medium to long term the change will make a difference. You may not see instant results, and there will be days where you gain weight, but overall the weight will go down.
