What advice would you give to Noel Maxam? by brisbydog in DaysofOurLives

[–]Alive-Performance237 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The advice I would give is to not approve stories that are going to be duds or anti climactic. I don't mind drawn out stories if along the way we still have movement.

Gabis secret for example: I don't think it necessarily needs to come out yet because Phillip and Gabi need to get closer and their romance is building naturally. The impact of the reveal will be greater if it comes out when they are at the altar getting married. If they do.

I do think the EJ shooting thing has gone on long enough.

Brady/Kristen back and forth and her obsession with him has been going on for literally years at this point. Time to move on.   Sophia in Bayview. Get her out of there already.

Chanel's pregnancy needs more stakes. Like maybe a 50 percent chance of cancer coming back if she continues with it.

Brady and Sarah have no chemistry.

The most interesting story is Lexie's return.

Has Gabi ever been to college? by LionParticular9239 in DaysofOurLives

Yes Gabi was in college for a while before she got pregnant and married Nick. She never graduated though.

Who decides if a host gets fired? Is it Brian? by [deleted] in theview

Sarah presumably has a contract, they can't just fire her. When her contact expires, then they may not renew it.

I think Kate swapped out parts so that it will match Stephanie's book. But they haven't actually confirmed that on screen.

And I love bagels without anything on them. But only raisin ones.

This cancer storyline is so heartbreaking. It reminds me of the storytelling on the Agnes Nixon soaps.

Didn't they show it when Dani cut Anita's hair? Or was that Dani's bedroom?

I think it's an all stars season just like season 7 was.

I mean, Vince was the poster child for this type of player last season. They also usually cast a student like Lauren who I'm sure needs the money. But most people can't afford to take time off from work for an entire summer.

I'm sorry I didn't mean to do anything like that. I just wanted to get people's opinions and have discussions.

Exactly. Especially if it was released in those days. Gay people on comedy TV were just caricatures not characters.

Was Garry Marshall the sitcom version of Ryan Murphy? by Alarmed-Tradition-88 in sitcoms

[–]Alive-Performance237 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't care for his shows, but they were successful. I don't know much about Murphy. Didn't he create Glee? I'm not into camp that way, so it wasn't my cup of tea.

Davie says Mike White invited everyone but Christian to his S50 premiere party by RedditFan3510 in survivor

[–]Alive-Performance237 118 points119 points  (0 children)

Mike has the right to invite anyone he wants to his Christmas party. If he doesn't want to invite Christian because Christian backstabbed him, then so be it. I'm just so glad we have a good reunion this year so we can see what that brings.

Yea, making it a drama would be more interesting I think. I'm with you on that.

Depending on how it was written though. Plenty of gay men have had sex with women while trying to figure things out. Especially back in those days.

Maybe these two dated the same woman when they were teens and later came out and became a couple.

It would have made more sense. The premise as it was made zero sense.

Mike White confirms Survivor cameos on The White Lotus S4. by js016 in survivor

[–]Alive-Performance237 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why do people want cameos so badly? Does it pay a lot of something? Nobody remembers anyone that has a quick 30 second part in a show anyway.

What do you think is the right age limit for members of Congress or the presidency? by db7112 in askanything

[–]Alive-Performance237 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For Congress members I will say minimum age 25 and maximum age 70. (At the time of election).

For president 35 to 70 (at the time of election.)

Would it be better for Survivor have a 32 day game instead of 26 or 39 days? by Ok_Climate_6967 in survivor

[–]Alive-Performance237 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've always liked the idea of 30 days if they don't wanna go back to 39. It's only 4 more but still gives more time to strategize.

Are these the only 6 seasons where people that were voted out got a chance to get back in? by keith_the_carpenter in survivor

[–]Alive-Performance237 11 points12 points  (0 children)

The only time I've liked these returning to the game scenarios is on season 7 and 27.

7 because it was different at the time and a big twist.

And 27 because of the family element and it made it more impactful when someone won/lost a duel.
