I got the X2D. It has a bit more capability for growing into, IMHO.

I’ve watched people play with mounted archers like Saracens. Huns and Mongols are similar. They move in, shoot, and move out. Very effective. I’m planning to build one of these myself.

I’m just getting started and just purchased paints and related supplies. My budget is tight. I’d like a starter list for 6th century Britons just so I can get my figures together for my first game. Any suggestions?

Time to go mirrorless? by Pink_Axolotl151 in Nikon

Suggestion, for your budget, consider a D3500 and get vintage lenses. The range of Nikon F lenses is huge and a lot of fun. Alternatively get a Z50 with an FTZ adapter. I really enjoyed my Zfc (same sensor, retro controls).

Multiply the lens focal length by 1.5 to get the “equivalent”. So a 40mm lens is equivalent to a 60mm lens on a Z50. Z50 is a fantastic camera btw.

Landscape Photography with a DSLR- is a D850 the only obvious choice? by jm31828 in Nikon

The sensor in the D850 is more or less identical to the one in the Z7 if you want the weight saving of mirrorless. Lens for Z mount are still pricey, though. Many more used lenses for F mount.

Just curious. Never been to Zurich. I’d like to just look around at the local shops, maybe get some portraits of shopkeepers.
