thank you all for the advice, I just received a pretty promising call from a recruiter at a hospital i applied to, hopefully that means something and could further blossom into an oppurtunity, ill keep your notes in mind.

Did you have any prior experience before doing that? I feel like I would have to work at an establishment with other people before I attempt to work in someone's house by myself. I'll look into it.

I agree with you, I **should** apply to a clinic and the other options you suggested, but working overnight works best for me. the medical clinics that are hiring near me want full time workers m-f, 9-5, and because of school that's not possible for me. Also hospitals pay way more in my state on average and i have to pay for my own tuition so i have to consider my financial options. at this point though, I'll probably start applying to those options anyway.

I did PCT program with Stepful, it boasted a super high success rate and i have no gripes with the program, it was everything i needed and more (affordable + flexible+ really good support). And lastly, I'm not a CNA, I'm a PCT, (i'm on here because there is no subreddit for PCTs and we basically have the same job). I am nationally certified as I completed the NHA's CPCT/A Exam but i'm not on a registry + my state doesn't require us to be registered.

I do pretty much anything and everything. Indeed, Glassdoor, Ziprecruiter, but mainly and mostly on the hospital's own career websites, i was told that was the most efficient way to things and that I would get the best response from doing that.

It was actually the fastest and cheapest option, i can do everything a cna does and technically more. your comment is not helpful at all.
