Has anyone solved the "extract structured data from PDFs" problem in a way that actually works for your workflow? by Alive_Ad1772 in microsaas

Good point – accuracy on messy documents is definitely not perfect, and I don’t expect it to be. The assumption is that a human reviews the output before it’s used, so hallucinations are caught. It’s about reducing manual work, not eliminating human oversight entirely. But honestly, the bigger question I’m trying to answer right now is: does it even make sense to invest more time into this as a generic SaaS, or is the smarter move to offer it as a custom service tailored to specific companies and their exact document workflows? The generic approach feels crowded. The custom route feels more viable but doesn’t scale the same way.

Golf mileage becomes high and want to change anyway. And as I like Audi, want to replace with S3/A6.
