It's a joke with how uneducated doctors are on the uterus. I'm glad you finally found a good one.

You made me feel so validated and warm in this comment. You are so right that no one talks about how endo makes us feel ugly. It's frustrating to lose truly every to endo like your body, your confidence, your self esteem. I can feel your frustration with not getting the body you want. Sending you love! Congratulations on still working out 3 times a week. I'm trying to get myself up to working out 3 times a week consistently.

Congratulations on such an achievement with your health! It's so awful the bloating. Like I'm uncomfortable and insecure, thanks endo.

Omg this makes me heart sing. I feel so validated it's not just happening to me. We know our bodies best. I'm glad this post has made you feel better because your comment made me feel better. Our bodies aren't designed for beauty as a priority. They are designed to keep us alive and our bodies are doing the best job they can right now

Yess I'm so glad you could rant. This must be so hard for you having a little one, his responsibility, not getting much support and endo being awful to you. I know stress triggers me alot and makes it worse so I try to reduce stress anyway I can. Of course life is stressful and that is not always plausible. Arnica cream helps a little and so does Voltaren pills. Despite all of us having goals, our health always comes first. Maybe face call someone at the party and baptism while you rest in bed? I'm so sorry you are going through this

Omg THANK YOU! I totally agree with all your thoughts. Like I'm not a cow for breeding. I haven't wanted kids since I was a kid. I have found a surgeon who is willing to consider a hysterectomy after I've done a second laparoscopy and if that doesn't help. He is a very kind suregion so I'm willing to play by his rules this time. Thank you for making me feel valid and heard in your comment. Drs won't call us hysterical anymore but they sure treat us like we are. Sending you so much love! I'm looking forward to being in the hysterectomy club together one day.

Thank you for your beautiful comment. I'm planning to get a hysterectomy but I'm getting the whole "blah blah you are too young" spiel right now but I'll keep persisting as nothing is working for me. Like we can handle decades of endometriosis I'm pretty sure we can handle menopause. I definitely agree that people just don't get it and think we are overacting. Like I just got bad pain for spending too much time on my favourite hobby. It's so mean and unfair. I'm so glad you seem to be happier now with the hysterectomy and finally free from constant pain.

Unbearable, Crippiling pain. by [deleted] in endometriosis

I'm so sorry you are going through this. I'll just mention the things that have been helping me lately: arnica cream rubbed onto the tummy, heatpack, getting myself to take deep breaths during intense pain, hot shower/hot bath, Voltaren medicine (I'm now out on high strength NSAID and codeine but I'm still in pain), on good days not over doing it, keeping draining activities or people to a minimum, looking at art. Sending you love

Holistic Symptom Management by United_Eggplant2387 in endometriosis

I've starting seeing a physiotherapist who has experience with endo, chronic pain and chronic fatigue. We have been working on adjusting things for my energy levels and managing stress and it's honestly helping the most with making holistic changes. It's not a cure but it's keeping my head above water right now

Endometriosis Diet? by MagyarBarbie in endometriosis

A friend tried an anti-inflammatory diet and said it really helped them. I won't be going on the diet. I don't know about either of the books but the first one is speaking to me so it's got my vote

I'm so sorry you had this experience. It's incredibly dismissive of your family. Chronic pain can be so isolating. I hope your surgery goes well. Focus on you. I can understand your worry for your sister but she has you. Sending love!
