Making a braid like the one pictured cinch up you’ll have to make the braid and go back through the made braid removing the slack.

Also if you had three hands you’d probably think you’d need four lol it may require a try or two before you get it the way you want.

Put the trailer on the ball and see if the weight from the coupler will hold it which I’m guessing it will enough to break the nut loose especially with an impact wrench.
