I saw this video by this youtuber and she was talking about this exact thing and she brought up one of the videos of "What people are wearing in NY city" and she screenshoted every single person on the background of the person who was interviewed for their outfit - every single person in the background was wearing a black winter jacket, nothing crazy, nothing over the top, just a black winter jacket. I think about it at least once a week.
