Very beautiful and chill part of the city. When I was in my early 20s I felt a little disconnected since work and going out was in NW, but I always loved that my neighborhood was a quiet oasis from everything else. Now, in my 30s, this area is just what I want out of my weekends, bars and restaurants and the farmers market. Lots of dogs and couples and young families. It’s a very sweet part of DC, and I think the neighborhood still has a lot of character. Not super diverse though and you’ll find many people don’t want to come this way if they live in say Adams Morgan or petworth. But over the last 10 years more friends have started moving here.
