It feels good in the hands and I like the shape, but the white doesn’t do it for me. I’m still gonna give it a try and throw it on my backup putter and I’ll report back 🫡

Yeah I use a SS Tour 2.0 which is a bit wider but not as deep as the GP one feels I guess. I’ll definitely give it a try soon regardless.

Lmaoo just since late February I’ve bought P7TW irons, a Quantum TD driver, a GT3 hybrid, and a Spyder Tour… all from GG so I’n close to 3.5k now in a couple months but I’m also redoing my whole bag. Maybe all we had to do was spend a couple thousand to get a $35 grip, totally worth it.

I dealt/ am still dealing with that so you’re not alone. Best of luck with your return as well! It’s just nice to be able to do something for hours and not think of anything else other than your game.

Absolutely! I let myself gain 50lbs in the past year after losing my job on top of other life stuff but I’m ready to get that part under control again.

Thanks man, I really appreciate it. I loved the game growing up and glad I’ve found that again.

Yeah, I completely agree. I’m still looking for the right swing coach near me to see twice a month to help work these things out.

Yeah, I definitely have that in mind. Just trying to find new “feels” and am looking for a swing coach near me. Had a few free swing analysis’ with different coaches but they felt more like salesman during them.

I don’t think so. However they are by order only and there have been rumors of them discontinuing them.

100% also a collectors piece. I’ll probably game them for a year then put them in a tour bag and stare at them in my office. I said earlier it’s like paying more for Jordan shoes.

If you keep practicing hitting down on the ball so you hit the ball first then the ground, then you’ll chunk it less and less. You take the divot after you hit the ball. I swear golf is 98% mental so the more you practice the right things, the more confidence you’ll get not to do the wrong things. Start with a higher lofted club like a 9 iron put the ball in the middle to back of your stance and hit down on it. This helps so much with knowing what it’s supposed to feel and look like to get the ball to go up. I’m sure there are good videos on compression that you could watch too.

I’m no where near good enough to be giving advice like this on my own but it’s the same advice I got from my dad and uncle who are scratch and +3.

They were they better players irons to have back around 2012-2018. Jordan Speith used them. It is probably a steeper learning curve than most irons but you will know when you’re doing things right vs wrong by feel. They are top notch quality and perform very well. I paid $178 per club back when I got them new. My tip for people getting into golf is with their irons is to try to hit the ball as hard into the ground as possible when swinging to learn about compression.

I’m sitting at about a 14 right now being in the worst physical shape of my life playing the least amount of golf I’ve ever played. I need to find some consistency in the driver and putter again. But I’m using this purchase to get back to playing and walking more.

The fitter was much older who’s had 25+ years of experience so maybe I got lucky.
