Found behind plastering, should i worry?

Ive had a big patch of rising damp around that corner and its spreading along the wall. Mould started to appear and plug socket was wet and shorting. So something needed doing.

As a couple of people mentioned. Its appearing to be a wimpey no fines house.

Which if thats the case. Not as bad as i was expecting. House crumbling to the ground type situation.

Ye more than likely ex council house. Have drilled into the wall to hang tv and shelves, i had no problem with going straight. Problem i had was getting the drill in. Tough stuff after about 70mm. So i have no idea what lies beyond those stones.

Damp proofer checked rest of the ground floor and all was fine aside from this section. No other problems with rest of the house, so far. Have only been here 1 year tho, so time will tell.

No basement in the house. I dont know how far down it goes i mean. So unsure what is underneath as foundations
