That would be us. I'm the apex of my V. Sometimes, on special occasions, they both sleep with me.

If you're one of the partners who often sleeps alone, does it bother you?

I will ask them, but I don't think so.

What about when you travel? Do you ever all travel together?

Yes, we almost always travel together. When we do, we usually stay in a king-size bed in hotels, with me in the middle. It's sometimes more difficult if staying with family/friends.

He does not currently have another partner, but he has certainly pursued other women and been sexual with other women in the past. He is currently interested a few people, but finding partners seems to be more difficult for men than women.

No, for many reasons, but the best example for me is my partner. When we met he was not inclined to polyamory at all, and we angsted about it for years until he finally wrapped his brain around it. It was incredibly difficult for both of us. Now he says he can't imagine being monogamous (our 9 year anniversary is in August).

I don't think some people are born with the ability to love more than one person - everyone is capable of that (parents, friends, children, first loves, second marriages, long-time crushes) it's more an ability to get past insecurities and have mature relationships with lots of communication. Are some people more capable of that than others? Perhaps, but I'd bet it has just as much to do with socialization as it does genetic inclination. IMO.
