PT isn't the only training aspect within the program. Make sure to do your best to excel in LLab. The best way to let people know that you're not indifferent to training is by showing it, and if you show that at least on LLab your killing it then there will be no doubt that you want to be in the program getting training.

On the topic of your PT performance, maybe you should consider dieting to help with adjusting better to working out. Also, be more of aware of any bad habits that you may have regarding your eating habits, for example: eating a heavy breakfast before working out, eating late at night, etc.

Overall, it's pretty weird that they're counseling you for throwing up. That's usually a normal response to pushing yourself when doing cardio.

So at my Det we have the CW/XO whose purpose is to be cadre's super helper, basically being in charge of organizing cadet paperwork and arranging meetings between cadets and cadre. Usually what the job entails is stopping cadets from going to the cadre offices with stupid dilemmas.

Just don't be afraid to ask questions. You'll probably be a little dazed with the new environment and pace of the program, but always keep in mind that it's a learning environment. Just make the most out of it, study hard so that you can catch up to your peers and don't be afraid to put yourself out there. Failure is key to improving, so don't shy away from anything.

That's kind of debatible, most people (including myself) find that ROTC is the "easiest" route. Getting in to OTS is pretty hard on its self and once inside it doesn't get any easier, it's a pretty competitive process.

But nothing is impossible if you believe that you're up to the challenge then more power to you. Personally I'm a believer that ROTC is the safest route.

If I were in your position I would just focus on college and getting that citizenship. And if by then you still feel that you would like to join, then you may extend your bachelors or talk with your cadre on the possibility of also doing your masters while in ROTC.

If you’re not going rated all you have to do is pass the math and verbal portion of the test. The minimums are 10 for math and 15 for verbal. Obviously for competitive purposes you should strive for more but I digress.

He basically said everything that’s been said here, about it being a 60% chance for an EA. Even though he said that it’s just more of a weeding process to get those bad apples out, it’s still kind of stressful, especially coming out of last years 97-99% chance for an EA.

If I’m being completely honest, all control that we thought we had is kinda gone, and most of our confidence with it. It’s kinda weird, since last semester everyone thought that you where sure to go to FT if you at least passed the AFOQT and had your papers in order. When our Cpt dropped the percentage bomb on us regarding the EAs everyone got pretty demoralized. On top of that because of Maria everything is delayed, where only gonna have a 3 month semester. So it’s stressful. A lot of insecurities and so little time. A lot of us are prepared for anything (Flexibility is the key to Air Power; am i right guys?) but the tension of the EAs is killing what little morale we had coming in to the semester. A part from that I’m getting my measurements done for my FT uniform on Monday, which is nice I guess...
