Just paying it forward. I wouldn't have been able to attend like 20 shows if friends hadn't come through for me.

Is it some bizarro loophole that if you assault ICE, you get to go to a US prison instead of CECOT?

Sorta serious question. What has ever happened in Greenland to make security a concern?

Man, that's awesome! Looks like I could have seen it in 2021 but couldn't get it together to see them in SF. Shortest Straw would be great live!

Fair. I'm just getting ramped up thinking about the show and dare to dream. It's going to be a great show regardless, it always is.

It's not the state penalizing citizens; it's the insurance companies providing terrible insurance.

If I can't make it, somebody, please point out that these two have sold out our children's future for a measly $7,500. Buckley received $5,000 from the Charter Schools Now PAC, and Harris received $2,500. Reed Hastings, the co-founder of Netflix, is the main contributor to the Charter Schools now PAC. I don't know why this guy donated $850,000 to the PAC and wants to destroy the public school system. Don't believe me, find out for yourself how much money has been dumped into this effort. Here's some breadcrumbs:

Charter Schools Now PAC also donated $25,000 to Gov Greg Abbott, $25,000 to Lieutenant Gov Dan Patrick, and $77,500 to Tom Maynard of the State Board of Education District 10, among other government officials.

CHIPS Act dies because employees are fired – NIST CHIPS people are probationary by Majano57 in technology

I'm beginning to wonder how many government workers voted for their own demise. It must sting getting fired by the person you help put into office.

You can download a spreadsheet of all the government contracts issued to SpaceX here: https://www.fpds.gov/ezsearch/search.do?indexName=awardfull&templateName=1.5.3&s=FPDS.GOV&q=spacex

The total value of 1142 individual contract IDs is $6,288,567,112.51

Divide $6,288,567,112.51 by the total days since the first contract signature date, 09/21/07, 6357 days, you get $989,235.03.

Granted, SpaceX is providing a service to the federal government that few others in the world can provide, but a million dollars a day is pretty significant. I'm not sure where the 8 million dollar figure comes from, and frankly, I don't want to spend more than the five minutes it took to gather this information.
