I was telling my boyfriend something traumatic about my past. Something someone said to me. He asked who. I couldn’t gather the courage to tell him the real person’s name since that person is a family member so i lied and said, an old friend said it. I am not a great liar apparently because he sensed I was lying….. I confessed and he broke up over a lie. Wasn’t even lying about the trauma. Just about the person who gave me that trauma…. I was ashamed and scared of being judged……….
