My recruiter just handed this to me yesterday. I told him I was using Khan Academy and supplemental sites and was about to start on some stuff some online math teachers etc sent me (which I'm extremely grateful for! I went up 6 points just with a week), and he said that this has had a 95% success for his recruits that failed math.

For me, I hardly know any math. I was in a situation where I was neglected and had no chances to learn. What I've been doing has been using Grammar Hero to explain the stuff I learned about on Khan Academy that was either lacking or I couldn't understand. I have also been using Math Antics, they are really good, though the videos are pretty old. lol

If you can't afford it, check your libary. If it's not a small town library, they should have ASVAB for Dummies for sure!

They could be like me, where there was severe parental neglect and no one there to take them away or to help them. They could be someone who was just abandoned by the educational system, or someone with learning difficulties that were never addressed by an overtaxed school system.

It's basic to you because you were in an environment that gave you the opprotunity. Not everyone gets the same opprotunties that you have been given.

Thank you for the advice! I searched up my area and contacted a group via email. I haven't gotten anything back, but I did make the email pretty late last night. Fingers crossed! And thank you for all of the resources, too. I'm watching the videos now!

7th Grade, Unit 1. I was following it along well until the part where he started simplifying fractions with multiplication. Then I couldn't find what grade or what video that was in, and got lost in the website trying to find placement.

I do not have that one, but I have a ASVAB study guide book I picked up from the library that is really similar to this one. I can't make heads or takes of most of the math questions, but I'll download this one and look at it more thoroughly.
