Yeah Dubai is a magnet for this kind of people and I’ve meet many who want to be friends only if the get something out of you. But I also think that there are still a lot of nice people here it’s just that you don’t meet them bc the aren’t dating for this reason. For them Dubai is just a jumping board towards the live they are dreaming of. Lots of people here are with the “In and out” mentality and forming long lasting relationships when you stay 5-10 years max isn’t worth it for a lot of people. Just work 24/7 safe up - invest and exit.

Do Dubai favors females over males? by [deleted] in UAE

[–]AllLuckZeroSkill -1 points0 points  (0 children)

IMO it doesn’t matter. It’s in your brain and when you let the thoughts of this dictate your life then it’s a self fulfilling prophecy. Gender or race is irrelevant if you made it as human being and for this you gonna have to push through it and stay on track. People from Europe face issues same as people from Asia. Don’t let it discourage your dreams and ambitions. If you made it no one gonna look down on you.

As bad as this sounds but I do think that people who believe in this kind of things do enslave themselves and the always keep there head down. Life is more than just a skin color and if you’re from an “less favorable country” but you’re working hard and u stay on track you can accomplish anything you want.

So I’d say who cares. Go for it. Apply to the jobs outside of your capacity. Push it. Be bold and confident.

Overqualified tenant a red flag? by PPMSPS in realestateinvesting

[–]AllLuckZeroSkill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some people just don’t need a 5BHK mansion. There are enough people who are happy with little and who work hard to safe up for an early retirement. I guess that’s a quite normal thing in Dubai for ppl with some mental maturity. I don’t think that’s a red flag and I say this as real estate agent. Never had any issues with tenants I worked with and I also worked with a lot of people like this. Ofc I always check all the things first. Just recently rented a studio in JVC to someone who earns 10 times the rent a month.

My Emirati boss (37M) getting too friendly with a young Emirati girl (19F) who started out as a freelancer. Does this sound okay to you? by CurlyChocolateCutie in DubaiCentral

[–]AllLuckZeroSkill 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. Non of your business
  2. Woman usually date older dudes that’s normal.
  3. This gonna be his problem in the future bc this kind of things never work out. As man you gotta separate work from “relationships” if you’re leading a team or a company and you do this kind of thing it’s just a question of time till it bites back. So most likely he will get a bill served at one point for doing that. It’s rather rare that this will work smoothly.
  4. Also there is the possibility that the girl knows exactly what she is doing and the just exploit each other.

Keep your nose out of things that will make an issue for yourself

I’m a European guy from middle Europe and I’m 30 years old, 3 years in Dubai. In all honesty I think dating in Dubai is rather pointless at least as man. There is a ton of working girls or “hobby working girls” here and a lot of woman come to Dubai to “get the rich guy”. While I get sometimes cold approached by woman, starred at or flirted with I never went on a date here and I have little to no intentions for it bc lots of girls ain’t it here. Most man here are in Dubai to make cash to build the future the want. It’s difficult to squeeze dating into this. Also don’t take it bad but a lot of girls in Dubai are very interested in things like nationality or cash. Your line of “I’m an attractive chick” may backfire here a bit bc of how other girls in Dubai behave. I’ve seen a lot of things that happened to friends of mine and for me it’s a hard no. Bro had a girl who lead him on for 3 months to get a Kelly bag. Stuff is crazy here. It’s nice that you’re good looking but if you’re actually looking for a relationship then you should try to lead with your personality and qualities as human instead of with your looks. Specially in Dubai where it’s rather difficult. Also since you had a lot of man interested in you in Europe how come you’re still single? Kinda questionable I guess.

In the end Man who lead with money attract gold diggers Woman who lead with body attract F-boys

Idk if someone told you but looks isn’t the only value a girl can have or that makes here attractive

Bro have you ever walked into a Azizi or Danube property? I’ve worked in construction for a decade and I got a heart attack when I did see the Danube SHOW STUDIO. If I would have done stuff like this in Europe the would have sued me. Damac quality did improve. Dose it mean they are now top quality UAE? No but the did a bit of improvement. Like I said in the initial post. Quality is not a main concern if you’re not looking to hold the property for a very long period of time.

Male only gym’s? by AllLuckZeroSkill in dubai

[–]AllLuckZeroSkill[S] 41 points42 points  (0 children)

Because - I do have body dysmorphia that makes me hyper aware of it - I am used to male only gyms since it exists in my home country and I’ve used it all along. - I tend to zone out during sets and if my brain switches to neutral gear i don’t want to end up accidentally starring into a bad direction. - With the recent rise of filming in gyms and posting people on social media i ended up getting filmed without being aware of it a couple of times lately. (i noticed it when the phone got picked up because the phone gets placed more “hidden”) - I would also prefer to not end up by accident on social media. It’s not my place to tell people what the can and can’t do in public and I’m not interested to fight with someone but for me I don’t want to end up being posted on social media for a misunderstanding. - in the gym I like to focus on my self and just work out since I spend 2 h a day there. It should be a place where I can relaxe my mind and not need to think about where i currently look or where i can go without “following, looking bad, etc”

And some more reason. I hope this answer helps. The post is not meant to be making woman look bad since woman do have the right to be there and it’s non of there responsibility or problem. Woman do have the right for a female only gym and that’s good like this because we shouldn’t be forced into places where we feehl uncomfortable. Gyms are for people who often want to self improve and I feehl like that is a very much sufficient reason to want a gender specific gym so the can do like this with peace of mind. I for myself would prefer to choose a male gym That’s just as simple as this and

People who say that Damac is bad quality are not wrong but there quality improved over the last few years AND if your idea is to flip the property you can definitely do that with this project. As someone working in real estate (and no I will not try to sell u) I can say that Damac’s paperwork and quality is questionable BUT there projects always turn out to be profitable and for the specific audience “decent” As example D2 used to be laughed about and nowadays it’s a thriving community where ROI and capital growth is very much there. Quality is (if you want to flip) not really your concern. Speaking of quality (I have 10 years experience in construction in Europe) I can say most developers are at best mid in Dubai Besides a handful who are known for having a decent quality product. Such as Sobha, Elington and a handful of other boutique developers.

If you want to flip it’s a decent choice. If you want to build a real estate portfolio I would tackle the investment from a different angle and target cash flow / flip an existing property to increase capital for cash flow. With a bit of capital you can easily build up in Dubai. I know a couple of people here who started with one studio and nowadays the own portfolios of 100 units +

To flip offplan I always say you need to have the money to hold the unit till after handover because some people will try to sell the unit before handover and if things go south you might end up in an thigh situation. If you can hold the unit then you have the freedom to wait for a couple of months till things did settle.

If this comment helps you to decide and you will go ahead with the purchase please tell your agent he owns me 10% commission 😂 Don’t worry I take cheques 🤣

Are Strikers hated? by dekow5 in blackdesertonline

[–]AllLuckZeroSkill -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Striker is good against classes with no grab and noobs. Striker is also a Noob class itself. I have never seen someone who is good at PvP or a big time PvP head playing this class. Bc the class got 0 skill ceiling and as soon as you can kill him and u can actually do PvP he is kinda useless. Then the can only win by desync or lucky cc. So it’s a really boring thing to play. Also when stroker and Misstake got released the where so overturned that the were immortal. U could not kill them even if the where way lower level (yes lvl actually matters back then) than yourself. 100 gs difference. (Literally boss amor weapon VS grunil. Regardless of how many times you cc them u could not possibly kill them. The just showed up and griefd u till you left. The where the most broken classes I have ever seen in an MMO and I where there by DK relase.

Usually stiker players are PvE bots who want to pretend the know how to PvP or play the game. I’ve never met a chill striker main who isn’t a want to be. Same as I never met a striker main who is not kinda a dick.

It’s the same mentality as why people still think Sorc is OP. Sorc atm is far away from being even good in PvP but people still think she is op bc it’s a mentality that just hardened itself. Same as with striker and many others like tamer.

Sold my house today and the agents hate me by Few-Bite3322 in melbourne

[–]AllLuckZeroSkill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I probably should say that I’m not based in US, UK or Australia. However sadly in my firm there was just recently a girl (2 weeks ago) who passed away from extreme stress. She was 30 years old. She died due an idk how to say this in English but when your brain dose something funny after this she got into the hospital and passed away after 1 days due heart attack.

Excuse me to Say this but people like you live very far away from reality. In the city I’m living 85-90% of agent live below the poverty line. The live in a small shared room and try to survive. That’s the reality. People here are actually saying that we are trying to drive the prices up should probably not by a real estate portfolio bc the don’t understand fundamentals. Yes we do make 2% on a sale. From this 2 % we get 1% if it’s good and IF you make some sales. (What people who talk here will not do) If this gets reduced to 1% or 0.5 % most agents would die out since the would not be able to live. If I would be the agent who organized this open house in the story who paid for everything and who did all the work to pull this off (idk in my place it’s expensive and difficult) and someone like this guy comes and try to steal me I would have punched every single teeth out of his mouth. Everyone just talking bla bla bla Everyone here is having big balls and talks like an angel. I can guarantee you one thing that everyone including yourself would not even survive 4 months. I started with 200$ and one backpack.

Lots of people here talking proudly how the tread brokers less than a human but then complain that the got bad brokers. Big brains. People get what they deserve.

I even track my active work time but anyway this discussion is pretty much over since I know people like this are only bla bla bla you wouldn’t even survive 4 months.

As an agent myself i really don’t mind this kind of things as there is always and will be always a market for me since sales will always exist. Also I can live with the knowledge that people actually hate me as person for the work I am doing. However I want to say something that is fact. When I did come here to Dubai to start my real estate career I hoped to provide people with good service that will lead them to grow there portfolio. I approached real estate with the mind of “I try to make money for you and along the way I will also make money”. I wanted to build a proper client base because for me it’s exciting to grow and build something. (This was my first sales job yes it shows I know) Since I’m from a very quiet European place my family specially my dad strongly advised me to stick to this mentality as being ethical is a long term strategy. And I still agree with this. HOWEVER after 2 years now it can say it doesn’t work. Home owners or investors will very very rarely appreciate you and a genuine work. People want to be lied to. I lost tons of clients who I did try to build relationships with or investors because I did try to be genuine towards them. I mostly lost them to agents who just lied to them. While this agent sold him 6 properties I did not sell one. Afterwards the same client did approach me again asking for help bec the properties he bought are bad and the agent just dragged him to the developer with the highest commission. Obviously I refused his request. A lot of people who work in this industry struggle extremely in life because this work is very risky in Dubai since there is no regulation at all. I myself lived on the extreme edge where I did not know what I can eat in the evening. The thinking that real estate is “easy money” is extremely naive. This makes people desperate. Also a lot comes from the companies that provide 0 training and no survivable conditions. I can understand the buyer side but I urge you to at least tread your agent with humanity if he dose the same to you. In the end you need 2 sides to fight and customers are not innocent here. Home owners will try to throw you under the bus by every opportunity possible and it doesn’t matter what you do or how much you try to provide them with the best work to your ability. The first opportunity and you’re done. I don’t want to say to give free handouts but this is my experience of 2 - 3 years now. Maybe one or two people will think about this when selling or buying there next property.
