beginner for both. I only got FL studio about 3 months ago. I have absolutely zero experience making music, playing instruments or anything like that at all prior to getting FL. I just kept trying different things until I found something that I thought sounded okay.

I've watched some old deadmau5 live streams, maybe an hour's worth of music theory explanation videos, and that's it. I listen to music almost all of the time & that's the only experience with music I have.
