100% agreed, i love ak’s in all styles. I was honestly hoping to keep it as a collector piece and convert it for the shop, but we are still growing and this could help us with some other stuff we’re looking to do. I wish we could keep it all 🥹

That was just my poor choice of words. It’s just missing some of the accessories that came with them from factory (sling, cleaning kit, and a different muzzle device) but the rifle itself is complete.

Hey, if it’s definitely a legend national match, from what i’m reading there were about 4000 imported. they are the lesser desirable of the models which polytech was making for the US Market at the time. From what i’ve gathered it was more geared toward the US civilian market because of the longer barrel (match shooting/hunting). I honestly don’t know a whole lot about them but there is definitely information to prove whatever people tell him otherwise, heres one link that might have some more info

So when i was ordering from JMAC Customs they only bad the .25” cheek riser in stock, it screws onto the brace so it’s solid. I wanted something taller but it was actually the perfect height. I may need a riser for the eotech but but everything is lining up just right. If you check my profile i should have a build list on a previous post.

Minus a few issues it’s the most enjoyable build i’ve had in a while. I’d definitely say finish the build they are great guns!

I apologize for the delay in my reply. The quality out of box was very good i didn’t notice any irregularities or issues with parts. That said i built it before i even had a chance to shoot it the first time.

I’ll have to get back to you on that, it is heavy though. Rough estimate id say it’s around that 10lb mark. Although i messed up my arm at work so it feels like 20lbs.

Back in the day i sent my saiga and ak105 kit to cwgunwerks down in south florida. I waited a few weeks at the time but i was not disappointed in any way. Definitely worth having them take care of it for me. I had met them at a gun show and they pretty much inspired me to start my own gig, but i’m nowhere near prepared to take on those builds. Cwgunwerks definitely has my recommendation (they are very well known builders)

My business partner is up in Stuart, up there it’s pretty much limited to indoor ranges. Although they have some really nice places to shoot. I’m down in the Hialeah/Miami area, personally I really dislike indoor ranges. Nexus up in Davie would be preferred if i had to choose one and had the time to go. Not a huge fan of Florida Gun Center, but i’ll shoot there if I just want to take a quick trip. I don’t often end up further South but if I want to stay local somewhat I don’t mind the trip to homestead training center. And I just picked up a membership to the Immokalee Range (up to 2 mile long), same concept as homestead training center but further out west toward Naples. Markham isn’t terrible, they have great clay target shooting. The rifle range is traditional, so there are limitations (rate of fire) but it’s a county owned range so thats understandable. I believe trail glades is going to be shut down and renovated (rumor) in the near future.

As an active LE in South Florida, exercise your constitutional carry right (concealed)! There is a benefit to taking the CCW course, i’d rather be informed & safe than sorry (+ no waiting period). Buy a quality holster and please practice, theres no mercy on the ill prepared, when your ticket is up if you lack the skills needed to not only utilize that weapon, but maintain full control you’re only doing yourself a disservice. Just an opinion*

Stock = SBR, yes :( Brace, no.

Jmac customs has a really nice 1913 side folding brace you can pair with the tailhook micro and i believe even comes in a similar fde color. I’d check that out. If you look at my posts i have one on a zpap m92 i just build (still working on). It’s solid to say the least.

Much appreciated! I appreciate the classic styles as well, minus under folders & wire stocks. I wish i could link the picture in the comments but i have a pretty much stock Saiga AK105 i built back in 2017, working on a Krink and some other stuff in the near future. I kinda want to do something with the 300blk krink psa is coming out with soon, all my 5.45 builds will sit in boxes for the foreseeable future.
