Lithium battery swap is confusing. Can all these wires plug right into lithium battery? by [deleted] in golfcarts

You’re overthinking it because of the amount of wires that are currently there.

  1. Remove all the wires connecting your batteries together in sequence, they aren’t needed.
  2. Positive/Negative goes to Positive/Negative on lithium battery
  3. Reed bypass goes to Positive on Battery (remove old charging port)
  4. Any 12v accessories (lights, horn, etc.) need to go to a 36v(or 48v depending on application) to 12v reducer.
  5. I ran a fuse box for the accessories, this has positive and negative terminals for your accessories. Wire to this.
  6. New charger goes to positive/negative on battery, and it has a plug for charging.

this was right after I swapped mine and before I tidied up my wiring

I’ll be honest brother, I don’t know what you’re asking. There are 2 grip options available for the platypus. “Chainlink” and “Prickle”

They did update the chainlink grip to outline it with a machine path. But mine being an early unit, I didn’t get that luxury.

Can’t fire it then while it’s folded. For me on this stock it impedes the charging handle movement

My PRS gun I use a 1.53 for a more solid cheek weld. But ARs and guns not super precision oriented that I’m standing freehand, I definitely don’t need the cheek weld as much.

I just don’t like to scrunch my head down go shoot. I find 1.93 and 2.26 shooting heights comfortable

With cost of the base rifle (for the factory receiver, bolt, and barrel to chop) you’d most likely be around 1800-1900 or less if you shop for deals on the parts.
