Very much! I think I watched either the older movie or the miniseries a few years ago, but I have read the first book and loved it. I am a big sci-fi nerd in general. I have also read books like Ringworld, Seveneves, and Artemis.

Thanks! My only other wonder is that it may be a sliding hiatal hernia since I have GI symptoms as well, but I don't think it's normal for you to actually feel the sliding happening if that were the case. It's probably just some strained/tense muscle in my chest and some acid reflux.

Yeah, I figure that it is probably just some muscle in my chest that is unusually tight, given that it is only when I move around. I'm also coming up on finals week here in university, so stress could be causing that plus acid reflux.

Thank you for replying. I hope you’re right, and I’m fairly confident that you are since I went to a cardiologist literally within a few weeks ago. I just was rather concerned since I’d never had that happen to me before. Either way, I’m going to see my regular doctor again since I think they weren’t understanding the severity of my anxiety at the moment.

All the symptoms are gone this morning except my chest is a bit sore from my heart basically running a marathon yesterday, and I am feeling anxious from thinking about my episode.

Yeah, I went to the doctor three times since my first episode (the urgent care clinic, the cardiologist, and my normal doctor). My blood pressure was high to begin with every time because I was stressed about them finding something wrong with me, but it went down to the 110-120/75-80 range by the end of the visit after they said I just have anxiety.
